"whoever gives charity equal to a date from lawful earnings, allah ﷻ accepts it and nurturesit until it becomes like a mountain.

"if a servant walks towards allah ﷻ, allah ﷻ runs toward him.this shows how allah ﷻ appreciates even a small step.

so the real reward of gratitude is nearness to allah ﷻ .
