al-ghafoor: allah forgives all sins

H2:  al-ghafoor - the most forgiving (name of allah ﷻ ):

      all the name of allah ﷻ  is beautiful and every name of allah ﷻ  is light,among the beautiful names of allah ﷻ ,al-ghafoor is one of the most hope-giving and comforting. it fills the believer's heart with the light of repentance,mercy,and the certainty that no matter how many sins a person commits,allah ﷻ  is forgiveness is greater.

H2:  meaning of al-ghafoor

 ۩. the one who forgives again and again

 ۩. the one who covers and conceals sins

 ۩. the one whose forgiveness is vast and continuous

this name shows that allah ﷻ does not forgive only once, but repeatedly, whenever a servant turns back to him sincerely.

H2:  al-ghafoor in the qur'an:

allah ﷻ  mentions his forgiveness many times in the qur'an:

۩. "indeed, allah ﷻ  is most forgiving, most merciful."

                                                                              (surah al-baqarah 2:173)

۩. "and your lord is the most forgiving, owner of mercy."

                                                                                    (surah-al-kahf 18:58)

۩. "O my servants who have transgressed against themselves, do not despair of the mercy of allah ﷻ . indeed, allah ﷻ  forgives all sins."

                                                                                (surah az-zumar 39:53)

this verse is one of the greatest message of hope for every sinner.

H2:  ahadith ﷺ  about al-ghafoor:

the prophet muhammad ﷺ explained the mercy of the name of allah ﷻ  beautifully:

        "allah ﷻ  stretches out his hand at night so that the sinner of the day may repent, and he stretches out his hand during the day so that the sinner of the night may repent.''

                                                                                              (sahih muslim)

♦ in another hadith, allah ﷻ  says:

     "if a servant comes to me withsins as great as the earth but meets me without associating partners with me, i will come to him with forgiveness as great as it.

                                                                                           (jami' at-tirmidhi)

H2:  awliya said about al-ghafoor:

 ''the great saints emphasized hope in allah's ﷻ  forgiveness.''

۞.  imam junayd al-baghdadi said:

     "whoever truly knows allah's ﷻ  forgiveness will never lose hope."

۞.  hassan al-basri said:

     "crying over a sin is repentance, and the one who repents is beloved to allah ﷻ ."

۞.  data ganj bakhsh ali hujwiri wrote that:

     "allah's ﷻ  forgiveness purifies the servant and brings him closer to his lord"

H2:  wazifa of ya ghafoor

for those seeking forgiveness:

after isha prayer:

۩. recite:

    "astaghfirullaha rabbi min kulli dhambin wa atubu ilayh"-100 times

۩. then recite:

    "y ghafoor ya rahim - 100 times

BENEFITS:

   ۩.  inner peace and relief from anxiety

   ۩.  forgiveness of sins

   ۩.  increase in blessings and sustenence

   ۩. softness of the heart

H2:  conditions of true tawbah

for repentance to be accepted:

   ۩.  feel sincere regret for the sin

   ۩.  stop the sin immediately

   ۩.  make a firm intention not to return to it

   ۩.  return the rights of others if violated

this is the repentance that allah loves.

H2:  lesson from the name of allah al-ghafoor:

  ۩.  never lose hope in allah ﷻ 

  ۩.  no sin is bigger than his forgiveness

  ۩.  repeated repentance is beloved to allah ﷻ 

  ۩.  allah ﷻ  loves to forgive more than we love to ask
