H2:  name of allah ﷻ :al-aliyy

          the most high, the most exalted all the name of allah ﷻ  is powerful every one name of allah ﷻ  is power among the magnificent names of allah ﷻ , al- aliyy is a name filled with majesty, power, and absolute supremacy. it reminds the believer that allah ﷻ  alone is the highest in his essence,his attributes, and his authority. when a person truly understands this name, their heart rises above wordly attachments and becomes connected to the lord of the throne.

♦ meaning

the name al-aliyy means:
 ۩.  the one who is wabove everything
 ۩.  the one whose rank and status are the highest
 ۩.  the one who is exalted beyond all creation
scholars explain that allah's ﷻ  highness is of three types:
 ۩.  highness of essence - allah ﷻ  is above his creation, over the throne
 ۩.  highness of attributes - his qualities are perfect and unmatched
 ۩.  highness of power - everything is under his control

H2:  al-aliyy in the qur'an

   this noble name appears in several places in the qur'an:

 ۞. surah al-baqarah 2:255

      "wa huwa al-aliyy al-azeem"
    he is the most high, the most great.
this verse shows that allah's ﷻ  highness is combined with his greatness.

 ۞. surah al-hajj 22:62

     "anna allaha huwa al-aliyy al-kabeer"
   indeed, allah ﷻ  is the most high, the most great.

H2:  al-aliyy in hadith ﷺ 

the prophet ﷺ  afirmed allah's ﷻ  highness in many narrations.
in one famous hadith, the prophet ﷺ asked a servant girl:
"where is allah ﷻ ?"
she replied: "above the heavens."
the prophet ﷺ said:
"free her, for she is a believer."
this shows that beli ﷺ eving in allah's ﷻ  exaltedness is part of true faith.

H2:  al-aliyynear awliya

the friends of allah ﷻ :
 ۩.  whoever recognizes allah's greatness becomes humble before him
 ۩.  whoever lovers himself for allah ﷻ , allah ﷻ  raises his rank
imam junayd al-baghdadi r.a said:
"the one who humbles his ego, allah ﷻ  elevates his status."
so real elevation comes through humility, not pride.

H2:  spiritual effects of this name

reciting and reflecting onal-aliyy brings:
 ۩.  awareness of allah's ﷻ  greatness
 ۩.  detachment from wordly arrogance
 ۩.  honor and dignity among people
 ۩.  strength against enemies and hardships
 ۩.  elevation in knowledge and status

H2:  wazifa of ya aliyy

a simple spiritual practice:
 ۩. recite "ya aliyy" 110 times daily
 ۩. best after fajr prayer
 ۩. recite durood before and after

۞. intention:

    seeking honor, spiritual elevation, and closeness to allah ﷻ . whoever feels humiliated,weak, or unnoticed should recite this name with sincerity. allah ﷻ  grants dignity to whom he wills.

H2:  practical lessons from al-aliyy...

this name teaches us:
 ۩. do not be arrogant - true highness belongs only to allah ﷻ 
 ۩. be humble - allah ﷻ  will raise your rank
 ۩. do not chase wordly status - seek nearness to allah ﷻ 
the more a servant bows before allah ﷻ , the higher allah lifts them in both words.
